This last weekend I went to an afterparty at the Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs where the whole theme was a carnival. It really gave me some up close and personal time with the real heroes in this country…carnies! They ain’t here to put up with your monkeyshines, they’re here to make sure that funpark is a successful romp for all who enter. But it’s gotta be a lonely life out there on the road, town to town, never time for lovin’. Somebody should create an online dating website for these lonesome doves, maybe we can finally give them back some of the happiness they bring us.
